Taskworld Deutschland GmbH based in Berlin, Germany is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. If you are looking for a rewarding career in one of the fastest growing industries on planet, then read on:

Job Brief:

You will be responsible for configuring and provisioning our products based on customer specific needs, providing installation and first-use assistance, and providing technical support whenever needed. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software issues, and assist our customers with installing and running our products. You will use email and chat applications to provide our customers with quick answers to simple issues.

For more complex problems, you will provide support by phone and in person. Some travel to client sites might be required, for more advanced issues. As the main point of technical support for Taskworld inside Europe, you will be responsible for managing communication between our core engineering and infrastructure divisions, and our European customers.

To be qualified for this role, you should hold a degree in a relevant field like Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or similar experience and certification will be highly regarded.

Ultimately you will be someone our customers trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical issues.


  • Provide pre and post-sales technical support to our customers
  • Work in close contact with our core Engineering and Infrastructure teams to provide best in class support and care to our customers.
  • Respond to technical queries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide on-boarding assistance to clients for our products
  • Translate technical support information from English to German
  • Provide on premise support to our customers which includes travelling within Germany, Austria and Switzerland (sponsored by the company)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • German, native speaker with solid English skills. You must be able to communicate effectively (via screen share, email and phone) with our team and clients in Germany as well as other regions of the world.
  • Strong desire to help our clients with their technical issues, or in the case of pre-sales, assist with technical questions during the sales process
  • An IT Degree, or equivalent industry experience
  • Team player - sorry, no lone wolves...

Desired Qualifications:

The following are not required for this role, but will definitely earn you extra brownie points:

  • AWS Qualifications - Specifically AWS Certificate Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator OR extensive experience with AWS
  • Google Qualifications OR extensive experience with GCP
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience with any of the following: Kubernetes, Docker, NodeJS, MongoDb, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch
